Tired of expensive electricity bills that never seem to go down? There is something that you can do. Investing in a residential solar system and Residential ev charger allows you to control your costs and contribute towards greener future.
As the electricity prices continue to rise, so do our expenses. By harnessing the sun's power, you are saving the environment and a lot on your monthly power bills. Besides being a reliable energy source, residential solar system have little maintenance. You also get to enjoy Federal and State rebate benefits depending on where you live.
Solar VIC is providing a rebate of up to $1400 for residential solar installation subject to certain terms and conditions. Each month, rebates are released in accordance with the rebate release dates. An interest-free loan equal to the rebate amount is available to eligible Victorians to further reduce installation costs. The loan can be repaid over a period of four years or in one lump sum.

grid connect
hybrid solar system
off-grid solar
A system that is connected to the utility grid is known as a grid-connected PV system or a grid-connected energy system. With this grid-tied connection, the solar power system captures the energy from the sun, converts it into usable electricity with the help of the inverter, and supplies it to our homes for personal consumption.
When the grid-connected energy system is installed on commercial and residential rooftops, it gives solar electricity to all the electrical sockets and ports. Whenever there is excess production of power, the bidirectional meter present in the grid-tied PV system exports those extra units of electricity back to the grid.
To keep the power supply running, those exported units are imported later (at night). Additionally, grid-connected PV systems provide consumers with the flexibility to draw electricity from the grid in the absence of sunlight.
The design of this PV system is simple and needs minimum maintenance. Thus, it is more cost-effective than other models.
A hybrid solar system includes a design where a solar panel remains connected to the grid’s power lines and also has a backup battery system for the storage of extra power.
The absorbed solar energy from the solar panel passes through the inverter to convert it into usable electricity. From there, electricity either goes to the battery, grid, or to your home.
The most important advantage of using a hybrid solar system is that you will always have electricity under any circumstances. Using a backup battery, you can store any excess energy generated by the solar panels (but not used by your home). Thus, even when the sun will not shine, the battery will supply power during nighttime, blackouts, or bad weather.
Also, if the batteries ever run out of power, a hybrid solar system can draw power from the electrical grid.
The off-grid system is independent of the grid but has batteries to store the energy it generates. An off-grid solar power system is usually made of a solar panel, charge controller, battery, inverter, grid box, mounting structure, and balance of systems.
The off-grid solar system is self-sustainable and capable of working independently without being dependent on the grid. Any excess energy generated by the solar panels will be sent back to the battery bank after your appliances are powered by solar power. It will stop receiving power from the solar system once the battery is full. Battery power will be used when your solar system is not working (night time or cloudy days).

FAQ’s
Residential Solar System Melbourne
For residential panels, the highest wattage solar panels available are around 500W, which is more than enough for residential use. The wattage for residential panels is limited to 500W due to the need to ensure that the panels’ size will fit on most rooftops.
What is a Residential Solar System?
This is how they work: Solar Home Systems basically consist of solar panels which are built on the roof of one’s house. The energy gained through the solar panels then directly feeds into the electric circuit of the house.

A 6.6kW system size may appear rather an unusual number to you. If we speak in general terms, a 6.6kW design offers the best return in terms of kilowatts on your investment. In addition, as per the calculations done by us, if you are receiving a feed-in tariff that is somewhere between 8c or more per kilowatt hour, you are bound to get the best return on your investment.
